Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I have recently been made aware that someone is fraudulently posing as me, and posting job listings for a 'personal assistant' on Craiglist and elsewhere -
IT IS A SCAM; PLEASE, PLEASE BEWARE!

To clarify:

- I have never posted any advertisements for a 'Personal Assistant', on Craigslist or elsewhere.
- I do not currently need a Personal Assistant.
- I have not had a Personal Assistant in the past, and certainly not one who has had 'an accident'.
- The following email addresses are entirely fraudulent, and not controlled by me - aaronschuman11111@gmail.com , propertiesfortuni@live.com
- I am not in the Phillipines, nor have I ever travelled to the Phillipines.

This is very all concerning for me - it is a case of identity theft, pure and simple. I have repeatedly asked the perpetrators to stop claiming to be me, and I have reported their activities to a number of authorities.

If you have been in contact with the imposter(s), please beware - please cease all communication with them immediately, and please be sure not to provide them with any personal details, bank details, or otherwise, and do not accept any packages on their behalf.

Furthermore, if you have been in contact with the imposter(s), I would also be grateful if you could report them to the authorities, namely:

- the Internet Crime Center (IC3), which is an affiliate of the FBI - http://www.ic3.gov/
- the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) Identity Theft Hotline (toll-free) -1-877-ID-THEFT (438-4338) ; https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
- and any other authorities whom you think appropriate.

I sincerely hope that no one has been seriously effected by this identity theft scam; I am doing everything in my power to stop it, and sincerely appreciate your support.
